Going to Rathlin
Dear all,
on Saturday 8 April, I will start on my journey to Rathlin. It will take me almost 48 hrs. On Rathlin I will be working as a residential volunteer for the RSPB - the UK bird portection organisation.
Rathlin Island is just off the coast of Norrthern Ireland. It has around 149 human inhabitants; during the summer season, thousands of sea birds nest there.
Here, I will be sharing pictures and a narrative of my experience.
